3rd August 2006 - Hope you're all doing well. I've got a couple of shows on this month, first up on the 9th in Stanmore, North London, and then on the 22nd in Camden. Check out the 'shows' link above for details.
12 July 2006- 'Nameless #1' from'West Country Tales' has been playing on Unsigned Band Radio's Open Mic channel for about a week now, and spent a few days as the most popular song. If you haven't done so already, please give the station a listen and vote for me. This is the link!
Also Meredith Wiggins has sent me her cover design for 'West Country Tales', which is particularly pretty I think. you can see it here, and if you feel inpired to create something after hearing the album, send it in and I'll stick it online.
02 July 2006 - A NEW ALBUM!!! I have an album, it's called 'West Country Tales', and it's available to download free from this page. The songs were all written back when I lived in Somerset (hence the title), and were recorded live in one take sat on my toilet in Woolwich last week. Honestly. Don't hang around, go get 'em
04 June 2006— Well, would you look at that - it's been almost a whole month since I last updated! I hope you haven't got bored and gone away. The Hope and Anchor show was a true blast and since then I opened another charity show, this time at The Constitution in Camden, which raised almost ?400 for Let's Trek For Children, so a success all around. I'm taking a bit of abreak from gigging to do some recording with my ace bass player Becky Matthews from The Greenland Choir, but visual-hybrid's video for Hey Jenny is getting screened at Trickledown 7 at the Bush Hall
05 May 2006— If you're coming to the show at the Hope and Anchor on Sunday night (of course you are!), you should download this for cheaper admission. See you there!
17 Apr, 2006 — Happy Easter everybody! I hope you're all well and truly stuffed on chocolate. That very clever man visual-hybrid has stuck his video to my song 'Hey Jenny' on the interweb, and this is it:
Also, as a preview of the big news I'm going to announce next month, I've put a new MP3 online, specifically recorded as a session track for the MP3 blog xx speed trials xx. It's a stripped down version of a song I'm working on called Stars Over Walnut Creek (Part One).
I hope you enjoy all this Easter goodness. Don't forget the next gig is May 7th at the Hope & Anchor, Islington. See you there I hope.
29 Mar, 2006 — Thank you very much to all of you who came along to the show last night. It was an absolute blast, and special thanks to the headline act, The Sniffers, two of whom couldn't stop telling me how much they loved it.And they gave me a present, which makes them very nice people indeed. The next show is May 7th, at the Hope and Anchor. More details to follow closer to the time.
10 Mar, 2006 — I'm doing another show later this month, this time at The Twist at Oliver's in Greenwich on Thursday, 28th March. Admission is £4, doors are at 8pm, and I'm on stage at 8.45pm. Come along, it'll be ace!
2 Mar, 2006 — So the Brodie's show went pretty well.I'd like to express my utter gratitude to Steve White of the band Chain of Fools for loaning me his guitar after mine sustained a nasty injury. There's a picture from that on the photos page, and also some super nice photos taken by the very talented Bryony at Filthy's, of which this is one:
Don't forget Trickledown on Saturday. You'll love it.
25 Feb, 2006 — I have a new look website at a new domain name, and this is it (obviously)
